The National Order of the Arrow Committee has announced those Lodges from the Southern Region attaining the status of Quality Lodge for 2007. Congratulations to all who worked so hard to achieve this honor!
 
E. Urner Goodman Camping Award

We are proud to announce that the E. Urner Goodman Camping Award recipients from the Southern Region are Ittawamba Lodge and Coosa Lodge.

The award was established as a tribute to the OA's founder, E. Urner Goodman, to encourage and challenge lodges to increase their effectiveness in promoting and increasing Scout camping in each region.

The Quality Lodge program recognizes a level of excellence in lodge program and operation. Every OA lodge has the opportunity to achieve the status of Quality Lodge. The requirements provide a guide for a successful lodge, addressing inductions, service, camp promotion, membership, events and other aspects of lodge operation.
