This scholarship was established in 1998 to honor the spirit and the memory of Josh R. Sain, a former National Vice Chief of the Order of the Arrow. The scholarships are provided to former National Officers upon completion of their successful service of their terms.

Past Recipients

Clay T. Capp will receive $2,500. A sophomore at Harvard College,
he is a member of Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge, Middle Tennessee Council, Nashville, Tennessee. He is the immediate past national chief.

Riley C. Berg will receive $2,500. A sophomore at the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill, he is a member of the Tah-Heetch Lodge, Sequoia Council, Fresno. He is the immediate past national vice chief.

Nathan M. Finnin will receive $2,500. A senior political science/philosophy major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he is a member of Klahican Lodge, Cape Fear Council, Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the immediate past chief of the Southern Region.

Jason W. Kemp received $2,000. He is registered with the Old Hickory Council, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and the Wahissa Lodge. He is a junior majoring in Geography and Environmental Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is the immediate past southern region chief.
